Saturday, July 24th, is the Amana Colonies in Bloom festival! To celebrate this beautiful time of year, we are having a CHALK the WALK with Marilyn. Draw your favorite flowers and/or add to the design to make our sidewalk BLOOM! In this one act play based on the award-winning book of the same name by Senator John C. Culver and John Hyde, actor Tom Milligan portrays Henry A Wallace, the agricultural innovator and founder of Pioneer Hi-Bred Seed Corn Company, who also became US Secretary of Agriculture, and later Vice President under Franklin Roosevelt. Every summer we make a point to have live music for your enjoyment. The music selection we have will included country, big hair bands, classic rock, blues and more. The fun begins every summer starting in June and goes through August. We hope you are able to come enjoy and evening with us soon!
